The ideal time to get a snagging inspection and survey carried out is before you exchange contracts with the developer. However, some developers will not allow a snag/inspection to be done before completion. Always check if this is the case with your developer, you should book the snagging survey as soon as possible after you’ve moved in.

You can of course have a snagging survey done at any time once you have moved in, but make sure you get one done early and well before the end of the given time. Some companies operate a 10-day snag/inspection and for others, it’s a 21-day. 

Let us do your snag for you before the deadline so you can then hand the snag to your house builder confident that everything has been checked by us. You can also create a snagging list yourself but you may miss the important structural or building regulation issues. 

You will get a better response from the builder by using us to snag for you.

Given the number of issues we have seen over the years and picked up through the build (carpenters tend to be first and last on any site), we have experience working on sites and gaining quality awards for our work. 

A lot of snagging companies will not have any practical experience and have never physically worked on new build homes or construction sites.

Being trades ourselves, our inspectors are fully qualified and experienced with all build stages.
